Winter Wildlife Day – Wells ME

Bring the family to explore the trails and treasures of the Wells Reserve at Laudholm. Enjoy live animal presentations (10am and noon), go on a wildlife tracking walk (11am and 1pm), get bird-watching tips, and create a wildlife project to take home. Bring sleds and snowshoes if you have them (and if there’s snow). Presented by the Wells Reserve at Laudholm, Center for Wildlife, and York County Audubon. Free for all. 10am-2pm.

Have a Heart for Horses – Valentine Event Feb 17th

Are you looking for something new and fun to do with your family this Valentine’s Day weekend?

Spend some time with the amazing mustangs of Ever After Mustang Rescue and bring a valentine for your favorite horse, mule or donkey!Visit the Rescue at 463 West St in Biddeford on Sunday, February 17 between 2 and 4 pm.Your time will start with a tour of the barn and greetings from some of the rescued horses. Children will have a mustang ‘pony’ ride – fee $5. Bring your cameras! End your visit with hot cocoa and cookies in the horse barn.

2013 Annual Lobster Dip OOB ME

January 1, 2013 – Join in for fun and a great cause. Annual fundraiser for Special Olympics Maine, where potential “dippers” collect pledges prior to their “dip” in the Atlantic Ocean on New Year’s Day, at NOON, sharp!

Annual Christmas by the Sea

Celebrate by the Sea Old ORchard Beach MEAnnual tree-lighting event with free horse-drawn hay wagon rides, face painting, entertainment, hot chocolate and food. Frosty and Rudolph will be on hand. Bring your camera and have your picture take with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who arrive on a fire engine, making this a very special tradition and holiday event. Parade starts at 1pm on Old Orchard Street. Firepits in the park have replaced bon fires on the beach. Pictures with Mrs. Clause. 3PM is the tree lighting in the town square. Happy Holidays!
